教學目標:
This course offers a broad introduction to the field of medical anthropology. The goal is to encourage students to explore some of the key concepts and approaches that currently characterizes the field. Particularly emphasized in this course is the close interconnection of culture and nature, and cultural construction of health-related activities in human societies. Students are expected to critically examine a variety of health phenomena from an ecological perspective.
